Lloyd Everson, MD, Chairman
Lloyd Everson, MD is Vice-Chairman and a member of the Board of Directors of US Oncology, Inc.
In 1993, Dr. Everson become a member of the Board of Directors, President, and Chief Operating Officer of American Oncology Resources, Inc., which later became US Oncology, Inc. US Oncology, Inc. is one of the largest healthcare service networks dedicated exclusively to cancer diagnosis, treatment and research.
Dr. Everson, an oncologist, serves in a leadership capacity in a number of national organizations, a member of the Board of Directors of Intercultural Cancer Council (ICC), and a member of the Board of Directors of C-Change. Most notably, on July 27, 2006 Dr. Everson was appointed by President Bush as a member of the national Cancer Advisory Board (NCI). The National Cancer Advisory Board advices, consults and makes policy recommendations to the Secretary of Health and Human Services and the Director of the National Cancer Institute on issues related to cancer care. The NCAB and the President’s Cancer Panel are the only two advisory bodies at the National Institutes of Health and the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services whose board members are appointed by the President. Dr. Everson is one of only 18 members appointed by the President to serve rotating six-year terms. Dr. Everson also serves as a member of the Sigma Alpha Epsilon Foundation Board of Directors, Chairman of the US Oncology Foundation, and is a member of the Board of Directors of Interfaith of The Woodlands, TX.
Armin Weinberg, PhD and CEO of Life Beyond Cancer Foundation
Armin Weinberg, PhD, is a professor of medicine, recently retired director of the Chronic Disease Prevention & Control Research Center at Baylor College of Medicine.
He has received numerous community awards including the National Patient Advocate Foundation – National Health Care Hero Award, the American Cancer Society – Humanitarian Award, Volunteer Houston’s Lifetime Member Award, and the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Research Foundation — Jill Ireland Award for Volunteerism for work on behalf of the ICC, to name just a few. One of the founding members of the Intercultural Cancer Council, Weinberg currently serves as chair of the Cancer Alliance of Texas.
George Lindahl, III
George Lindahl, III is managing partner of Sandefer Capital Partners.
From 2000-2001 George Lindahl III served as Vice Chairman of Anadarko Petroleum Corporation. He was appointed to EV Energy partners as a director in 2006. From 1987 to 2000, he was with Union Pacific Resources, serving as President and Chief Operating Officer from 1996 to 1999 and as Chairman, President and CEO from 1999 to 2000. He holds a BS in Geology from the University of Alabama and has completed the Advanced Management program at Harvard Business School. George serves on several local boards, including Interfaith of The Woodlands, Goodwill and The Cynthia Woods Mitchell Pavilion.
Donald H. Wiese, Jr., P.E.
Mr. Wiese, Jr. is Chairmand of Cobra North America (Pyrolance) Firefighting and founding partner of Diverse Energy Management
Don is a founding partner of Diverse Energy Management and is a registered professional petroleum engineer. He earned Bachelor of Science in mechanical engineering from New Mexico State University, is a proud husband and father of two. Don is a cancer survivor and is involved in several Houston area charities.
B. Scott Aitken
Mr. Aitken is Associate General Counsel as US Oncology, Inc. – a McKesson Corporation
From 1999 to present, Scott has served as Associated General Council with Us Oncology, Inc. – a McKesson Corporation – specializing in corporate matter, finace and health care transactions. From 1994 to 1999 he was a practicing attorney with Mayor, Day, Caldwell & Keeton, LLP in Houston, TX. Scott earned his law degree from the University of Michigan Law School and is a graduate of Standford University.
